Under the erudite supervision of ADEO Himanshu Bhusan Samarth and MSA & 5T co-ordinator Santosh Kumar Choudhury and other eLibrary team members, an intensive hands-on eLibrary digitization training program has been orchestrated to hasten the development of the Digital Library initiative in the Puri district, with the aim of propelling its momentum and ensuring rapid progress. Mr. Saumya Kanta Swain and Mr. Sidhartha Sahoo conducted the training programme as external resource persons.
The sessions were held at Nimapada H/S on April 17, 2024, Puri Zila School on April 18, 2024, and Govt HS, Kanas on April 20, 2024, serving the Nimapada, Puri Sadar and Kanas Block, respectively.
An elite cohort of 33 computer-savvy educators from 11+10+12 a total of 33 schools had participated in the program, with a clear mandate to disseminate this knowledge and train others throughout the Puri Education District. The ultimate goal was to ensure the success of the Digital Library initiative while fostering the development of reading skills and broadening the horizons of our future generations.
